About The Photographer

SXSW 2010 Festival - Austin, TX
For the past couple of years, I have been focused on capturing the very essence of the technology community and its happenings. While stationed here in San Francisco and the Silicon Valley, my coverage has included many of the industry’s best conferences and spanned tech startup launches, celebrations, press and media events beyond my local boundaries. My work has taken me through to Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Austin, Seattle and to Toronto and has been shown on various publications like CNN Money, Mashable, TechCrunch, SF Weekly, PC World and SXSW.com.

Being a technology aficionado, I have found myself connected with many of the industry’s movers and shakers and have done work for numerous tech companies that have shaped the way we do business. Through this aggressive, yet sincere, networking, I have built a connection of great contacts that I feel comfortable getting photographs of and using that to my advantage in building and capturing a positive experience for my clients. Moreover, while my primary goal is to be a photographer for my clients, through my affinity and passion for social media, I spread the good word about great events using the major social networks like Twitter, Facebook and even post photos after the event on this blog and also on Bub.blicio.us – the Internet industry’s version of Page Six.

Past clients include Microsoft, PayPal, SXSW, DEMO, BlogWorld & New Media Expo, Parnassus Group, Mashable, TechCrunch, Klout, TechCocktail, Dealmaker Media, Porter Novelli, Altimeter Group and many others.

I’m incredibly interested in helping to create the right event experience for you and would love to speak with you about how I can help you out to capture the right spirit for your event. Just fill out my contact form or ping me by email at ken[at]snapfoc[dot]us.

Thanks!
